Origin Story
Mya Thazin Eain coffee farm Situated in southern Shan State, in the Ywangan region. The high altitude and an average temperature of 5 -21-degree celsius produces an area for some of Myanmar’s finest coffees.
Rich soil, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and naturally preserved caves are also part of the signature of this region. A region, which is home to many exotic species of trees and animals, and has inspired many myth and tales. Mya Thazin Eain farm coffee is shade-grown to protect the coffee plants from unsettled weather and direct sunlight. Silver oaks are planted every 8Ft horizontally. It is a fast-growing, the oak leaves support the coffee plant to act as manure and create a microclimate. In order to provide organic nutrient sources, to our coffee plant, we composted only cow manure fertilizer. Due to the fertile nature of our land, we are also taken up the opportunity of producing avocados.
