Origin Story

The Integral Cooperative of Agroecological Producers R.L (CIPAE R.L) - Read More

The Integral Cooperative of Agroecological Producers R.L (CIPAE R.L) was established in 2015 and was founded with 19 associates: 9 women and 10 men, with the aim of organising themselves and managing to market coffee at better prices, seeking financing, among other needs presented by the founders.
The Coop believes certification is most important and currently holds Fairtrade, UTZ, Organic, and Café Prácticas certifications.
Currently, the group has a membership of 48 associates, comprising 23 women and 25 men, with a board of directors that legally establishes the regulatory bodies.
Only ripe red cherries are harvested between November and March, after which they are fermented for 12 -18 hours before being pulped, washed, and sun-dried on patios.
Sustainability is the most important aspect of production for CIPAE R.L. members. The programs implemented support producers during difficult times. Through their certification systems, social and environmental sustainability can be achieved. Recent projects include wastewater treatment, shade management, soil conservation and reforestation. The Coop has benefited from a compost project with Broza del Café, which created organic fertilisers from coffee waste and other materials sourced from coffee farms.

What Makes Our Coffee So Delicious?

Our customers ask us this all the time. And it’s no secret ingredient! At Bun Coffee, we pride ourselves on delivering the freshest coffee in Australia. And the difference is remarkable.

Coffee loses its intense, aromatic flavours over time. Nothing compares to the sensory experience of fresh ground coffee. And as coffee lovers, Bun Coffee prioritises the impact of flavour and freshness on the overall quality of our products.
