A unique rounded bean specially separated from the crop.
This bean is a result of a fundamental mutation whereby only one of the two ‘seeds’ within the coffee cherry is fertilised and grows into a rounded ‘pea’ shape. These beans are prized for their unique characteristics being more complex and somewhat lighter-bodied than the rest of the crop.
A 100% Australian single-origin coffee that is grown and harvested in the natural rainforest environment of the Atherton Tablelands in tropical far north Queensland.
Sweet and slightly chocolaty in the cup with bright acidity and rich nutty finish. Makes a great espresso or stovetop coffee.
