| | Isomac Millenium Isomac Millennium
This is a great looking machine and my personal favourite for my kitchen at home. It sports an E61 commercial group head which will make cafe quality espresso. It also has the ability to steam milk whilst extracting coffee, so having friends around for breakfast doesn't mean you spend all morning behind the machine. This is Italian design and quality at it's best in a compact, professional machine.

| | Hario Coffee Syphon 2 CupThis is the 3 cup syphon brewer from Hario. It includes a filter cloth, spirit burner*, plastic stirring paddle with integrated measuring scoop and stand.
The syphon has remained a popular brewing method for a long time now for a number of reasons: Aside from its beauty and the theatre of preparation it actually has a very stable and controllable temperature in the upper chamber.
For best results we'd suggest a butane burner as a heating device and also using a simple temperature probe to monitor and control your brewing temperature.
Cloth filtered brews are capable of exceptional body and sweetness, clarity and complexity and we love this brewing method especially for higher quality single origin coffees at lighter roast profiles.
*It is achievable to get a very good syphon coffee using the spirit burner, however, for increased control over temperature we recommend the butane burners. We have burners available in our Barista Accessories page.
| | Hario Cold Water Dripper
This cold dripper from Hario is both ornamental and functional, and it produces exceptional coffee. The slowly dripping cold water produces coffee low in acidity, bitterness and astringency while extracting the best aroma. This elegant coffeemaker uses the classic cold-drip method to produce a full-flavoured cold drip coffee. Store your extraction in the fridge – and drink neat over ice.
- This classic brewing system brings out coffee’s flavour and aroma by slowly dripping cold water through finely ground beans.
- Brewing your coffee with cold water preserves delicate flavor compounds, while eliminating the bitter oils and acids that would be extracted at higher temperatures.
- A precision metal valve controls the drip, ensuring perfect drop-by-drop percolation.
- Coffee flows through the stainless-steel filter into the heat-treated glass pot below, resulting in a pure, richly flavoured brew.
- Makes concentrated coffee ideal for iced beverages or serve as a 'cold drip' neat over ice.
- Makes up to 750ml of coffee.
For best results, we recommend using a ratio of 60g coffee per liter of water.
- Glass and acrylic construction.
- 15cm wide x 46cm high.
- 750ml. cap.
- Made in Japan.

| | Hario Woodneck Drip Pot 240mlThis is the Hario Woodneck Drip Pot with a capacity of 240ml.
This professional-quality pot makes it easy to brew perfect coffee using the traditional drip method. Showcasing the distinctive flavours and aromas of your favourite coffee beans, it brews with drop-by-drop precision to ensure a rich, full-bodied cup of coffee.
- Hario’s classic drip coffee pot provides a foolproof way to brew rich, aromatic coffee.
- Attractive pot is made of durable heat-treated glass.
- Removable wooden collar stays cool to the touch for safe, easy pouring.
- Reusable flannel filter guarantees full extraction of coffee’s pure flavor and aroma.
- Make 240ml of coffee.
- Made in Japan.
It is a beautiful little cloth dripper, that you would use in a similar way to the V60 brewers. The cloth has certain advantages over paper - it allows through some of the oils in coffee, but completely stops any grounds coming through. This means you can get a cup with incredible clarity, mouthfeel and complexity.
It is important to look after the cloths properly. You should thoroughly rinse before use and rinse and clean immediately afterwards.
It is important not to let the cloths dry out. If this happens the cloth will develop an unpleasant taste, and will need to be replaced. Ideally keep the cloth submerged in water when not in use.
Replacement cloths are available if required.
| | Mypressi TwistWhy is the TWIST unique? Don’t let its small size fool you. The TWIST was created without compromise. Designed and engineered by coffee geeks and pneumatics experts in Los Gatos, California, the TWIST's technology is hidden carefully inside the handle, providing the secret sauce to its amazing performance. Years of careful design and engineering has seen the TWIST hailed as one of the biggest breakthroughs in espresso production in over 50 years. Here's how it works.
Espresso requires pressure, heat, water and ground coffee. Get them right, and you have yourself a perfect drink. Get them wrong, and you might as well drink instant.
Click to download PDF
When we designed the TWIST we knew we couldn’t take any shortcuts. It had to be able to operate flawlessly under pressure, extreme pressure.
Making espresso requires 135psi (pounds per square inch) or 9.3 bars of atmospheric pressure. That's the same as diving straight down to 262 feet, and it's also about 4 times the pressure of the air in a car's tire. If you've ever tried to use a bike pump to pump up you car's tires, you'll know why no similar device can really make espresso.
Pressure is required, and it's no good taking shortcuts. It's needed to force the water through, taking the essential flavors of the coffee with it. For years now the industry has used 9 bars as the standard, and more is definitely not better. You won't get better espresso with 16 bars or more, just as your car won't run any better with 4 times more pressure in its tires. There's a reason for that PSI. It's the perfect balance of pressure against coffee against the amount of water required for a shot.
How much is 9 bars in everyday terms? Well, across a standard 53mm coffee basket it’s equal to almost 300 lbs of force, held for 25 seconds. You can’t do that by hand and still pull consistent shots. We know. We’ve tried. So the TWIST uses small, standard gas cartridges that contain 600psi. These are the same chargers used to make whipped cream, and they have been in use for over 80 years. They contain nitrous oxide (N2O), the same gas with which bags of pre-packaged coffee are flushed in order to keep them tasting fresh. N2O is perfectly safe.
However, 600 psi is about four times too much, so our patent-pending pressure regulator steps it down to 135psi. It does it all automatically, so you can make one effortless espresso after another.
What’s the difference between consistent, regulated pressure and a manual solution? WIRED magazine rated the TWIST 9 out of 10 saying it produced “excellent, creamy espresso…thick rich brew as good as you get from a $2,000 counter-top machine”. Their verdict on a manually pumped system? “Air pressure drops as you pour…the resulting espresso is thin and bitter.”
The gas cartridges are small, affordable, 100% recyclable, and available practically everywhere, and as far as great quality espresso is concerned, they make a world of difference. Each cartridge makes up to 4 double or 8 single shots, with perfect pressure each and every time.
